The following guide will walk you through the process of provisioning your Polycom phone to work on FluentCloud’s new and improved hosted phone system.  Please note that you may contact a FluentStream Support Technician to assist you with this provisioning process.  To contact support dial (303) GO-CLOUD and Select Option 2 for Support.
Step 1—Connect Your Phone
Securely connect Polycom phone to your network router.  Be sure that all cables are properly inserted in the correct ports. 
Step 2—Reset Phone to Factory Default
Before you begin configuring your phone to work with the new FluentCloud platform you will first need to restore the Polycom phone to its original factory settings. To do this, hold down the following four keys simultaneously (4, 6, 8 and *).  After holding down for a few seconds the phone will prompt you to enter a password. You will need to contact support for the password at or 303-GO-CLOUD.  After you’ve entered the password, select Enter and the phone will reset to factory default.  When the phone begins to boot up you will see a Polycom welcome screen and one of the softkeys will be labeled Setup (middle key).  Click Setup and proceed to the next step.
Step 4—Phone Configuration
After you click Setup you will be prompted to enter the phone’s password. The password is (456). You will now be taken to the main menu.  Scroll down and select Server Menu.  You will now see the Server Type and the default shown is FTP.  (Please note, if you do not see FTP as the Server Type, the phone reset did not work properly and you will need to manually reset the phone. Please see below for the steps on how to do this.) Click Edit and using your arrow keys scroll and select HTTP.  You will now see the Server Address and the default shown is  Click Edit and using your keypad enter  Please note that the . symbol can be found by pressing the * key on your keypad.  Once you've entered the Server Address click Exit twice and then select Save and Reboot.
Step 4—Complete Provisioning
Once you have completed the steps outlined above, your phone will begin a reboot process that may take several minutes to complete.  Please DO NOT unplug the phone or make any other change to the settings while the phone is booting up. Once the boot process has completed your Polycom phone should be registered to work with FluentCloud.  Contact a FluentStream Support Technician to assist you if the phone is not working properly.  To contact support dial (303) GO-CLOUD and Select Option 2 for Support.
